I could have laid down for a nap, it was that empty. I looked up and down Moab\u2019s main thoroughfare, and I thought to myself\u2026this is history. This is history. Someday it won\u2019t be like this on a Sunday afternoon, and I will long for this moment when the real world seemed so faraway, and the air was still, and even the light seemed softer and more golden.
