Grand County has been through this before. And, we know how to deal with it.\u201dWell&#8230;that\u2019s not quite right. Both Erley and Baird are invoking events of the past to explain their own actions; the problem is, their interpretation of Grand County\u2019s history is not just inaccurate. It\u2019s wrong. It isn\u2019t what happened. Fortunately, there is an excellent record of the facts as they occurred between 1989 and 1993\u2014from this publication.
