He was not exactly an advocate for the Great Outdoors. He once commented, &#8220;I don&#8217;t like to walk and I don&#8217;t like to paddle.&#8221;\u00a0 He mocked affirmative action, saying in a speech to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce about a coal-leasing panel: &#8220;I have a black, a woman, two Jews and a cripple. And we have talent.&#8221;He subsequently resigned.\u00a0 In 2008 TIME magazine named Watt the 6th worst cabinet member in American history.\u00a0 This cartoon appeared in the &#8216;Earth First!
