Much has been written about the obscene opulent wealth of the Republican nominee MITT ROMNEY.\u00a0 He has many homes and an elevator for his car. They say he’s worth almost $250 million. He loves to play around on his jet ski and Democrats took it as a symbol of a rich man out of touch with the people. Republicans complain that the characterization is unfair.<\/strong>

Back in 2004, the DEMOCRATIC nominee for president was JOHN KERRY. He and his wife the heiress TERESA HEINZ are estimated to be worth between $750 million and $1.2 billion. When Kerry took to his windsail\u00a0 that year, the Republicans saw it as a symbol of a rich man out of touch with the people. Democrats said it was an unfair characterization.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2004, the Kerrys owned several homes worth more than $29 million. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Republicans had a field day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2008 John McCain couldn’t remember how many homes he had. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Democrats had a field day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Republicans complain that President Obama plays too much golf. <\/strong><\/p>\n

They say he isn’t doing his job.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When Eisnhower was president, the Democrats complained that Ike played too much golf.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They said he wasn’t doing his job.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And then JFK became president and Republicans complained…etc.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Democrats mocked George H.W. Bush and his family compound at Kennebunkport<\/strong><\/p>\n

Republicans mocked the Kennedy Compound at Hyannisport<\/strong><\/p>\n

WHAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE?

It’s alright for a REPUBLICAN to play golf, ride jet skis, be rich and own many homes when he is the party’s candidate for president. But it’s EVIL for a DEMOCRAT
