Its unique log cabin-style construction separated it from today&#8217;s cookie-cutter per-fab chains.\u00a0 But it was off Main Street on First West and by the late 90s, the motel was worth more for the real estate it sat on than the rooms it rented. It closed down, sat vacant for a year and was subsequently razed.
