In 2002, multi-billionaire/private equity guru DAVID BONDERMAN celebrated his 60th birthday with a private BASH in Las Vegas that featured JOHN COUGAR MELLENCAMP & THE ROLLING STONES. The night cost about $7 MILLION (more or less).

As Mr Bonderman approaches #70 (on November 27) the Financial Times reports that, “Mr Bonderman is now planning a 70th birthday party in Las Vegas, following one 10 years ago in which the Rolling Stones entertained his guests.”
Will he be able to Out-Bonderman himself? Or will he keep it ‘simple’ this time. The private equity wizard also sits on the boards of several major environmental organizations including The Wilderness Society and the Grand Canyon Trust and leans Democratic. In other words, while he may end up celebrating in just as extravagantly and opulently and wastefully a fashion as he did a decade ago, we can take comfort in knowing that he’ll keep donating to ‘green causes,’ and that those recipients will keep turning blind eyes and accepting his generosity…JS

Personalized bathing schedules, preferred hygiene products, and familiar routines are easier to honor in a small home setting. That kind of individual attention is what drew me to senior care .

Your comparison really helps dispel the myth that all senior living options are the same. When I started learning about this, assisted living granbury tx was one of the first places that clearly separated Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Nursing care.

I’ve noticed that families feel more welcome and involved in smaller homes, especially when discussing how ADL support should be provided. assisted living encourages that family collaboration.
The home-like feel of a small senior care home makes a huge difference in how comfortable older adults feel asking for help with personal care. That’s why I appreciate what assisted living is promoting.

A good point about evaluating current and future needs—mobility, chronic conditions, and memory issues—before choosing a level of care. I downloaded a planning worksheet from assisted living that asked many of the same questions.
Many older adults resist the idea of a Nursing Home but are more open to Assisted or Independent Living. This article explains those gentler options well. I used assisted living to help my parents see virtual tours and feel more comfortable.
