Winter’s on the doorstep, the election’s over (FINALLY) and The Zephyr’s still holding on.  We’re grateful to report that, thanks to you, our online readership continues to grow; in October we hit 20,000 unique visits for the first time.

We believe The Zephyr is one of the very few publications in the West that offers unvarnished, honest journalism.  We quote people accurately and we get our facts right. That’s why, in almost a quarter of a century aggravating both the Left and the Right, we’ve never been threatened with any kind of litigation. Telling the Truth is a lawsuit buster and we’ve proven it.

THE ZEPHYR is beholden to NOBODY but our readers and our own conscience. No person or company or corporation or grant-giving entity contributes enough to ever make us sway from what we believe to be the Truth. If we can’t speak honestly and candidly, regardless of ‘the falling chips,’ what’s the point? And besides, gagged journalism just isn’t any fun. We have fun here being honest, even if we’re slightly broke (Fact is, we’re doing okay for the kind of wealth we aspire to.)
