Moab Flashbacks #14: ‘MILT’S…& BEFORE DAVE’S’

The corner of 400 East & Mill Creek Drive looked a bit different in the early 70s when (we think) this picture was shot.  An empty lot occupied the space that would someday be filled by DAVE’S CORNER MARKET.  And before it became the Mayor’s HQ, the building was built originally to be a GO FER convenience store. But the business failed and it wasn’t until the mid-80s and Dave Sakrison came along that the business took off.
