An unlikely spot for a mail box…

In the late 1970s, a standard blue US post office mailbox was installed along Utah Highway 95, a few miles east of Natural Bridges NM.

    I have a different picture of the same box, not sure of the date. NABR went to a locked box in a ditch since someone burned the mail one night a long time ago. Always thought it was cool to see this out in the middle of the mesa.
